2007 Trespass Cabernet Sauvignon
St. Helena, Napa Valley

The 2007 Trespass Cabernet Sauvignon is full of sophistication.  I love the abundance of sweet red fruit, ripe cherry notes and a touch of crushed herbs.  With time to open up, the wine is perfumy and the expressive nuances of oak vanillin round off the edges.

The palate rings true of Cabernet without too much muscle.  The flavors flow in harmony from front to back with notes of dried currant, cherry tart and interesting hints of rocky soil reminiscent of the Trespass Vineyard’s ancient riverbed terrior.  Just close your eyes and enjoy!
