2010 Trespass Cabernet Franc

I couldn’t be more happy or impressed than I am with this Cab Franc. The deep aromas are massive with a near perfect assembly of ripe black fruit. Black cherry seamlessly moves to blackberry preserve and further develops to vanillin, spice and oak. The sweet and lofty tannins along with the plush fruit and volume are expansively gushing and border towards overwhelming. The balance is magnificent!
I truly love this wine and it will remain in my memory for decades to come as perhaps the best Cabernet Franc I’ve ever had the opportunity to make. It is the composition of terrior, viticulture and season coming into one with perfect harmony. — Kirk Venge
