2011 Trespass Cabernet Franc

Racy and vibrant, this Franc exudes freshness and character sip after sip. The aromatics express brambly and exotic notes of bright cherry, wood spice and a pinch of black pepper. The palate is clean and distinct, defined by purity of fruit and hard red candy, generous black cherry, kirsch, and subtle rocky earth notes. The tannins are nicely masked by a smooth vanilla, then come on several seconds later which allows this wine to stand up to hearty meat dishes of beef, duck and even wild game.
