2012 Trespass Cabernet Franc

The perfect conditions of the 2012 season really showcased the best of what Cabernet Franc can be. There is not a trace of “green” in this wine, which requires meticulous management of this varietal. The flavors are big and round, drinking very lively today, with nuances of sandalwood, incense and cherry cola which evolves to a mix of warm blackberry, black cherry and cola. As the wine opens, the vanilla becomes more apparent, creating a smooth roundness, softening and carrying this wine to a long elegant finish. Enjoy for many years to come!
