2013 Trespass Cabernet Sauvignon

St. Helena, Napa Valley

This bold Cabernet starts out rich with black briar, dried plum and black cherry graphite, with subtle hints of clove and earth. As Donny likes to say “jam in a glass!” The nose of this deep wine is forever evolving. Very detailed notes of broad, sweet plush fruit push through the front of the palate followed by smooth tannins and a very balanced acidity. It is a tribute to a wonderful growing site and core in winemaking and overall barrel regime.

This is a generous wine that is without a doubt drinking well at the onset of its life, however I believe it will cellar beautifully for another 10-12 years.
