2011 Trespass Rendezvous
St. Helena, Napa Valley

Since the inception into the Trespass program in 2005, Rendezvous has always been a wine with magical color, brooding fresh fruit, heady purple notes and smooth barred aromatics radiating from the glass.  A special spice rack of flavors appears from the beautiful blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Cabernet Franc, with a subtlety of fresh herbs, black pepper, and cocoa-vanillin extracts from the new French oak barrels.  The palate is savory and sweet.  The dried currants implode in your mouth with additional flavors of black cherry and hints of clove, tobacco and coffee bean notes.  The finish shows youthful tannin and moderate acidity and is always a properly balanced wine.

This wine should be laid down a few years to reach its full potential.  It will cellar beautifully and you will be rewarded for your patience.  Expect to enjoy from 2016 to 2026 and beyond!
