2013 Trespass Rendezvous

Always one of my most anticipated releases and one of Donny’s favorites; this is the Trespass offering that we certainly work the most diligently on as well. With careful row selection in the vineyard to the open top micro fermentations in new French Oak, the Rendezvous blend gives so much to the connoisseur.
Beginning with a deep black garnet edge viewed in the glass, sweet aromas of clove, sweet black cherry, blueberry reduction supported in the secondary wave with light oak vanillin and an exotic array of Christmas spices. (Dana says magic!) The mouth is full of bright, sweet red fruit ranging from maraschino cherry to more blueberry preserve. The longer this classic bottling remains open, the more deep and brooding it becomes.
A blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Cabernet Franc, this will continue to evolve over the next 12 years.
