2016 Encroachment Pinot Noir
“With beautiful red hues, this wine enters in with lovely and rampant aromatics of maraschino cherry, vanilla candle, light liqueur, and a very pleasant woodsy incense. The palate is undeniably fresh with red fruit flavors filling and bouncing around in the mouth. It’s a runaway wine that begins and ends like a Police song; just a ton of fun! Racy raspberry, cassis, and strawberry all nicely combine up front with an after-feeling of cavendish and sweet clove. I think this is a wine that can be enjoyed today but will double in 5 years and survive to 15 if stored correctly.” — Kirk Venge, winemaker
