On the palate, the wine showcases a well-balanced structure with a full mouth and top palate body, delivering a seamless blend of fleshy dark red fruit and integrated tannins. The varietal character of this stoic red is clear and true, with 2% Petit Verdot blended, the tannins further providing both grip and elegance, enhancing the wine’s reach of depth. Tasted several times over two days of remaining open, the balance between fruit, acidity, and tannin displays an exceptional evolution, making this Cabernet Franc a vibrant and harmonious expression of the grape. It’s a classical wine that will continue to improve with time but is already a pleasure to enjoy now. Bottled after 22 months in 80% new French oak, unfiltered and unfined.
