Once again, we had the opportunity to source some extraordinary Chardonnay fruit from two unique Sonoma vineyards. The aromas are fragrant, yet delicate with tones of white peach and crushed seashell. The palate is finely textured with flavors of ripe pear, almond paste and slight citrus zest. The coastal influence on these vineyards adds multiple layers of flavor and beautiful minerality. Once again, we aged in once-used barrels which we feel added a subtle wash of oak to coax out, and not overshadow the fruit from these special sites. Aged for 11 months, bottled unfiltered and unfined.
